Developing hydrocarbons (up-stream), refinery (down-stream), mining resources and renewable energy in a sustainable manner.
Providing local contribution for increasing the production of hydrocarbons within an international context marked by the decrease in investments in oil and gas following the growing promotion of renewable energies and low-carbon uses due to sustainable development global objectives. For this purpose:
-Target the opportunities offered by the State through SNH in accordance with Law No. 2019/008 of April 25, 2019 (including Local Content), Project sharing agreement provisions, and the blocks promotion program implemented by SNH.
- Monetize, as far as possible, Farm in / Farm out opportunities for the short-term exploitation of proven unexploited reserves.
- Proceed with the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the sedimentary basins of Douala / Kribi-Campo and Rio Del Rey.
- Promote modular refining technologies to contribute to the growing local and regional supply of petroleum products and to reduce energy dependence and trade balance deficit.
- Invest part of value generated by oil & gas business in developing renewable energies (hydropower, solar, hydrogen, biomass, wind).
- Contribute to the implementation of Local Content by training technicians & managers in E&P jobs, technology transfer, use of local resources and SMEs, development of local infrastructure, and a sense of inclusion and appropriation of resources among neighbouring populations.
